Calderone Consulting is a proud woman-owned consulting firm that cares about helping communities recover as quickly as possible from natural and man-made disasters. We understand the real challenges our clients face when it comes to emergency management, and we bring decades of on-the-ground experience with FEMA and PA policy for a wide range of recovery efforts, from fires to floods and hurricanes.

Our founder.
Our founder, Natalie Calderone, is a licensed civil engineer with over 20 years of design experience in major bridge projects to include retrofits, highway, signature, and water crossings among many others. Over the past fifteen years, her leadership in disaster recovery has spanned nine states, supporting response efforts for federally declared disasters from Hurricane Katrina to Tropical Storm Irene to Hurricane Harvey.
With her extensive knowledge in the FEMA Public Assistance program combined with her engineering background, she has led teams of site inspectors, program delivery managers, and building assessment engineers. At Calderone Consulting, Natalie draws on her experience in the transportation sector and a broad network of skilled industry professionals to provide clients with the most streamlined solutions for disaster recovery and preparedness. A recognized expert in PA policy with proven technical expertise in the field of engineering, Natalie has built Calderone Consulting as a trusted and comprehensive source for emergency management.

Program delivery.
We provide a seamless delivery of the roles and requirements of FEMA’s Public Assistance Program. From Site Inspector to Program Delivery Manager, Task Force Lead, Building Assessment Team, Costing Specialists, and Hazard Mitigation Specialists, we have the resources and industry experience to support you at every stage in the process.
Policy expertise.
We are experts in the application of FEMA’s Public Assistance Policy. From the outset, we target potential issues and bring programmatic clarity, in order to give our clients the quickest journey through the FEMA process. With an in-depth knowledge of applicable statutes and regulations (Stafford Act & CFR) and current FEMA policies, our team is focused on eliminating redundancies and positioning clients on a successful track to eligibility. We deliver assistance on determination memos, eligibility, appeals, and arbitration.
Technical assistance.
We cover all the bases. Our team has a wide range of technical specialties and backgrounds that help clients navigate recovery management. Our coordinated teams of licensed engineers and architects deliver the practical strategies and optimized solutions needed for a fast recovery.
Damage Assessments.
FEMA is moving in the direction of having an Applicant-driven recovery process. This includes a new streamlined approach with little involvement of on-site FEMA staff, including eliminated the requirement for FEMA site inspections for small projects. At Calderone Consulting, we have the experience and a wide-range of expertise to document damages with the level and presentation that is accepted by FEMA. Additionally, we are able to identify opportunities for mitigation and hardening of all types of infrastructure.
